Mind's Desire was unbanned in legacy on August 7, 2023. Mind's Desire was originally banned when Magic's threats far outweighed its answers. Two decades later, creatures and planeswalkers are more powerful, and free spells make it harder for storm. We've decided to unban Mind's Desire to ensure combo players get the same level of new content and strength as other archetypes.
